The delegation was led by Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilization. The delegation also included leaders from the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Local Affairs 3, the Office of the Central Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilization; representatives from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; the Department for Building the Movement of All People Protecting National Security (Ministry of Public Security); the provincial Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilization; provincial departments and agencies of Tay Ninh; as well as many experts and scientists from Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

In its report, Life Gift emphasized its development orientation towards green and sustainable transformation. The company has implemented a range of cleaner production solutions, synchronizing production lines to save 10–15% of electricity, optimizing auxiliary systems (HVAC, RO), and adopting biodegradable and eco-friendly packaging materials. These are concrete steps to reduce emissions and strengthen corporate social responsibility in business operations.
At the same time, Life Gift has strengthened the application of science and technology in quality management. The company has established and operated a management system meeting strict international standards such as GMP, ISO, and FDA. It has also invested in a modern internal laboratory to strictly monitor safety and quality indicators. Thanks to this foundation, many Life Gift products are now eligible for export, including to demanding markets such as the United States and South Korea—marking a step in affirming Vietnam’s brand on the global stage.

Mr. Tran Viet Thanh, General Director of Life Gift, stated that the company has gone through many difficult stages, from the Covid-19 pandemic and global economic recession to major fluctuations in the functional food industry. Nevertheless, Life Gift has remained steadfast in pursuing clean production, complying with laws, and prioritizing product quality. He believes that in an increasingly demanding market, this is an opportunity for genuine businesses to assert their position, especially as consumers place more importance on proactive health care and counterfeit or substandard products are strictly dealt with.
At the meeting, many delegates acknowledged and highly appreciated Life Gift’s efforts. Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilization of Tay Ninh Province, said that the pioneering spirit of a young enterprise like Life Gift is very encouraging. She noted that the province is currently calling for more businesses to participate in developing medicinal material cultivation areas, as both community and public land still hold great potential, thereby contributing to a stable supply for the pharmaceutical and functional food sector.
Mr. Ho Tu Cuong, from the Institute of Energy and Environmental Science and Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, also stressed the importance of linking research with production. He expressed his desire to cooperate with Life Gift in developing health care products and also shared about the institute’s efforts in developing medicinal plant cultivation areas.

Other members of the delegation remarked that Life Gift’s development model is a good practice that should be expanded to foster stronger connections between academia and industry. During the field trip, the delegation highly valued the company’s closed production lines, modern auxiliary equipment, and systematic testing and packaging processes. These are considered crucial foundations to enhance the company’s competitiveness in the context of international integration.
Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilization, noted that Life Gift can be considered one of the exemplary enterprises in innovative start-ups, seizing opportunities and overcoming challenges to grow. He emphasized that in the context of past negative incidents in the functional food sector, perseverance in maintaining standards and complying with laws is essential for building sustainable trust. In particular, the direct involvement of scientists such as Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh as a scientific advisor, along with researchers participating directly in product R&D, is a valuable foundation ensuring the company’s long-term development.

According to the delegation, this working session was not only an opportunity for Life Gift to report and receive guidance from central and local agencies, but also opened prospects for broad cooperation between the company and research institutes, universities, and regulatory authorities. It also demonstrated the attention and support of leadership toward young enterprises, while affirming Life Gift’s determination in pursuing green transformation, innovation, and sustainable development—contributing to enhancing the prestige and position of Vietnamese products in the international market.
